Zara and the Seeds of Light
Zara learns that hearts, like soil, must be ready to grow love and truth. Inspired by Jesus’s parable, she becomes a joyful sower of kindness.

(Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus – Matthew 13:3–9)
In a peaceful village surrounded by fields, a girl named Zara loved to plant seeds. Her grandmother often told her the parable of the sower that Jesus once shared.

One day, Zara filled a basket with seeds and went out to plant. Some seeds fell on the path, where birds quickly ate them. Others landed on rocky ground and couldn’t grow strong roots.

A few seeds grew among weeds, but the weeds choked them. Finally, some seeds fell on rich, soft soil—and these grew into golden fields of wheat.

Zara watched in awe as the good seeds blossomed. She remembered what Jesus said: “Good hearts are like good soil. They help love and truth grow.”

From that day, Zara always planted with care—and lived with a heart open to God's word.

Lesson: When we keep our hearts open and kind, God's love grows strong within us.
