The Wise Old Owl and the Foolish Pigeons

When the pigeons fall into a trap, only teamwork and a wise owl’s warning save them. They learn that listening and unity go a long way.

The Wise Old Owl and the Foolish Pigeons

In an ancient banyan tree lived a wise old owl named Ojas. Every evening, he watched over the forest and listened to the whispers of nature.

Nearby, a flock of pigeons fluttered around, carefree and noisy. One day, they saw a field filled with shiny grains and excitedly flew down, ignoring Ojas’s warning:

“Be careful. Shiny things can be traps.”

Too late! A hidden net sprang up and trapped them. The pigeons flapped and cried, unable to escape.

But their leader remembered the owl’s words. “Let’s flap together, all at once.” With one mighty lift, the net rose into the sky, and they flew to safety.

They landed near Ojas and thanked him for his wisdom. “Next time,” said the owl kindly, “listen before you leap.”

Lesson: Wisdom and unity can help you escape even the toughest traps.
