The Mother’s Day Star
Nora chases a twinkling star to give her mom the perfect Mother’s Day gift. In the end, she learns that love outshines anything in the sky.
In a quiet village, little Nora wanted to give her mom the most special Mother’s Day gift. But she had no ribbons, no flowers, and no glitter.
She looked to the sky and saw a single bright star twinkling just for her. “I’ll catch that star for Mom,” Nora whispered, grabbing a jar and tiptoeing outside.
She followed the light through meadows, streams, and firefly trails, but the star danced just out of reach. Finally, she sat beneath a tree and sighed, "I just wanted to show Mom how much I love her."
Suddenly, the star sparkled brighter and drifted lower, casting a glow over Nora.
When she got home, she told her mom the whole story, and together they watched the star twinkle from their window.
"You gave me your heart," Mom said, smiling. "And that shines brighter than any star."
Lesson: The brightest gift we can give is the love we carry inside.
