The Lost Lamb and the Loving Shepherd
When little Luma gets lost, the loving shepherd leaves everything to find her. This heartwarming tale shows how Jesus cares for each of us deeply.
(Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus - Luke 15:3–7)
In a peaceful valley, a kind shepherd cared deeply for his flock of one hundred sheep. Every morning, he counted them with love, making sure each one was safe.
One day, a little lamb named Luma wandered off while chasing a butterfly. By the time she looked up, she was lost and alone.
The shepherd noticed she was missing and left the ninety-nine sheep behind to search for her. He climbed hills, crossed streams, and called out gently, “Luma, where are you?”
At last, he heard a soft bleat behind a bush. The shepherd scooped her into his arms, smiling with joy. “I’ve found you, little one.”
He carried Luma home and called all his friends. “Rejoice with me! My lost lamb is safe again!”
Lesson: God's love is so great that He searches for each of us, no matter how far we wander.
