The Cloud Who Couldn't Nap

High above the hills floated a tiny cloud named Puffy. Every afternoon, all the clouds would drift into a nap, but not Puffy—he was too curious, too wiggly, and too full of daydreams.

Instead of napping, Puffy would peek at the world below.

He watched kites soar, birds glide, and children giggle as they played. But one day, he yawned a mighty yawn and wished he could nap like the others.

He floated to the Sun. "How do I nap, Mr. Sun?" he asked. The Sun beamed warmly. "Try a lullaby from the wind."

So Puffy listened to the gentle wind’s song. It whooshed and whirled around him, soft as a whisper.

Slowly, Puffy’s thoughts quieted. His fluffiness stretched, his wiggles stilled.

With a final sigh and a smile, Puffy closed his misty eyes and drifted into the dreamiest nap the sky had ever seen.
