Levi and the Lost Coin
When Levi helps his grandma find her lost coin, it brings great joy. Just like in Jesus’s story, every lost heart is worth celebrating.
(Based on the Gospel of Jesus – Luke 15:8–10)
In a quiet village, a cheerful boy named Levi loved helping his grandma count her special silver coins each evening.
One day, one of the shiny coins rolled off the table and disappeared under a cupboard. Grandma looked worried. "That coin is precious to me," she sighed.
Levi grabbed a candle and crawled on his hands and knees, searching every corner. Finally, he spotted a glimmer under the rug.
"I found it!" he shouted joyfully. Grandma hugged him tightly and called their neighbors. “Let’s celebrate! What was lost is found!”
Later, Grandma smiled and said, “Jesus once told a story just like this. God celebrates every time someone lost finds their way home.”
Lesson: Each person is precious to God, and heaven rejoices when they are found.
