Ellie loved maps, but had never traveled far from her town. One rainy day, she found a pair of sparkly sneakers at a thrift shop labeled: “For Explorers Only.”
The moment she put them on—ZAP!—the floor turned into a spinning globe, and Ellie was whisked away to explore the wonders of geography in real life.
She hiked the Andes in South America, tiptoed across ice in Antarctica, and spun prayer wheels in the mountains of Nepal. In each place, she learned about landforms, climates, animals, and how people live.
The shoes brought her home just in time for dinner—with souvenirs in her pockets and stories bursting in her heart.
From then on, Ellie used her new knowledge to create the most amazing geography project in school—complete with stamps, sand, snowflakes, and smiles.
