Benji’s magical backpack takes him on a whirlwind tour through world history. From ancient Greece to freedom trails, he learns how the past gives us strength today.
Benji was always late for class—until the day he found an old backpack in the lost-and-found with glowing zippers and a note that said: “For curious minds only.”
When he put it on, WHOOSH!—the backpack whirled him through a time tunnel and dropped him into ancient Greece. There, he learned about democracy with philosophers under olive trees.
Next, he skated on ice with Viking kids, helped build the Great Wall of China, and sat beside Harriet Tubman as she guided others to freedom.
At each stop, Benji collected pins on his backpack—each one representing a lesson in courage, teamwork, or creativity.
When he returned, he was never late again—he had too much history to share and too many reasons to be excited about learning.
Lesson: History teaches us who we are and who we can become.
